We assessed the existing network to reduce loads on the upgraded treatment works. The four main pump stations and their control philosophies were upgraded, then tested by MNE OAK and handed over.

A costly Orbal disc aeration system was replaced with a retrofitted propeller and venturi system, giving the client more flexible oxygen transfer, easier maintenance and a healthier works.

A community project with partners including Grundfos SA. Converting the school pool pumps to solar saves more than R13,000 a year, and the pumps now run through winter at no electricity cost.
